Inspiring Creativity and Learning

At Everlight, we believe childcare is about more than providing a safe and nurturing place for children to spend their day. The early years are an incredibly important time for learning, development, and building foundations children will carry with them as they transition into TK, kindergarten, and beyond. Our Early Learning Curriculum generally begins around 18 months, or once a child has transitioned out of their morning nap, and welcomes every child to participate at their own developmental level and ability. Our goal isn't to rush children into school, but to help them build confidence, become familiar with foundational concepts, and most importantly, learn to love learning.

From mid-September through early May, curriculum is incorporated Monday through Thursday through short, play-based learning experiences. Children explore letters, numbers, colors, and shapes while being introduced to concepts through English, Spanish, and American Sign Language (ASL). Books, singing, dancing, movement, art, sensory play, and hands-on activities keep learning engaging and developmentally appropriate. There are no expectations for children to sit through long lessons or master concepts before they're ready. Fridays are our fun days, when we take a break from planned curriculum and let the children's interests help guide a relaxed day of play, exploration, and favorite activities.
