Inclusive Care
Every Child Belongs Here
At Everlight Children’s Academy, we believe every child deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and included. Children of all developmental levels and abilities are welcomed into our program and encouraged to learn, play, explore, and participate alongside their peers. A developmental or physical disability does not change a child’s right to belong, build friendships, experience new things, and be given opportunities to learn and grow. While individual children may need different levels of support or accommodations, every child is offered the same respect, encouragement, and sense of belonging within our program.
Inclusion has always been especially important to us. We believe children benefit from growing up in an environment where differences are simply a natural part of their community and not something that separates one child from another. Our goal is to meet each child where they are, work alongside their family and support team when needed, and create an environment where every child has the opportunity to participate and thrive.

Supporting Each Child's Development
Through Early Intervention Services & ASQ Screening
At Everlight Children’s Academy, supporting each child also means paying attention to their individual development and working closely with families along the way. We use Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) as a developmental screening tool to help us follow each child’s growth across important areas of development. Screenings give us another way to recognize progress, identify areas that may benefit from additional support, and open conversations with families about their child’s development.

When a child receives early intervention or other developmental services, we welcome the opportunity to work alongside their family and support team. With family approval, service providers are welcome to work with children during their day at Everlight when appropriate. We believe collaboration between families, childcare providers, and early intervention professionals can help create consistency and allow children to receive support within an environment where they already feel comfortable, included, and connected.

Children are encouraged to participate in our daily routines, play, learning activities, and curriculum in ways that are appropriate for their individual development and abilities.
Accessibility Note
Everlight Children’s Academy operates from a private residence, and our current facility is not wheelchair accessible. Families are always welcome to contact us to discuss their child’s individual needs and whether our environment can safely and appropriately accommodate them.
